How convenient that a now deceased Saudi Monarch should appear as a silent witness to support Najib’s fairy tale excuse for his 1MDB thefts. Since that King cannot give evidence we are presumably expected to take Najib’s word for it about fabulous donations from him to our mega crook ex Prime Minister.

If that is really the best excuse Najib can find for his thefts of Malaysian public money he must indeed be desperate as he searches fairy tales of the world for something to get off the hook.

It is one thing for a desperate criminal to lie his head off and quite another for a sovereign nation to allow such fabrications, detrimental to the reputation of a former head of State, to pass unchallenged and uncontradicted. Saudi Arabia needs to give the lie to this fabrication and to do so without delay. The Saudi monarchy will not want for one moment to act as an invented alibi machine to save Najib’s skin and should clear the matter, publicly and soon.
