There have been public demands for ex Minister Hishamuddin to explain why six helicopters, ordered and apparently paid for, have not been delivered. Such demands are a waste of time as whatever he says is unlikely to be believed.
What should happen is that the MACC should make a brief enquiry to establish whether the helicopters were paid for, partly or wholly, and where funds supposedly approved for that purpose actually went. By doing that it can be established whether the current allegations of fraud are founded and who is involved.. In that context it is to be noted that, so far, ex minister Hishamuddin has not taken legal action against anyone over this matter. Will he?
