For Security?

Hard on the heels of a report that a new Army camp, capable of holding 10000 voters (soldiers) and presumably their voting family members was being constructed in Minister (and Najib cousin) Hishamuddin’s constituency we see a fierce denial from Deputy Defence Minister Mohd Johari.

Such camps, he asserted, are built for security reasons, not electoral ones. Assuming that there is any difference could the Minister explain what new security reasons have arisen there requiring the new camp? Apart, of course, from the electoral security of his boss, Najib’s cousin.

Naturally he will not be able to do that, even by the standard UMNO tactic of mega lying, and may wish he had kept his mouth shut. His lesson? Loyalty is not to be confused with public stupidity.
