No Shorts

In tropical Malaysia voters are not allowed into polling centres if dressed in shorts! This is, at least, the “official decision” in relation to some voting centres in the current bye election.

Can such a “decision” have any legal foundation? If so let the Eectiin Commission give it immediate and wide publicity. OR just sack the election staff responsible. BN and its predecessor UMNO have a long and sordid history of election fixing and malpractice but this seem to be the first time that this particular game has been employed. What a stroke of genius! Can’t vote in shorts. Can’t vote in sarong baju? Just cant vote at all unless you can show a PN/BN members card?

Which is it then Moo? Stupidity or deliberate election fixing? As if you were smart enough to know!
