This extraordinary view, apparently held by Deputy PM Zahid, himself from outside the country, was expressed in the context of a demand from Beijing for the extradition of some Uighir Muslims presently in Malaysia.
For a champion of Islam and principal helper of arch thief (and Muslim) Najib Razak this seems a strange view until one realises that in Malaysia today BN do what Beijing tells them to do.
In China itself the Muslim Uighur minority have long been engaged in a struggle to practise their religion, Islam; despite official repression from Beijing. Zahid, of course, knows this but it is seemingly of less or no Importance when seen beside the fact the BN and its criminal leader are Beijing puppets, committed to selling Malaysia to China in return for personal financial gain.
It is pointless to condemn China in this affair. They have their religious minorities to oppress and will do so regardless of any outside views, Malaysia’s included. The new government of PH can, and no doubt will, after GE14 ,review financial and other ties with Beijing and invite the latter to pursue Najib personally for all corrupt dealing in which he has engaged with them. Unfortunately for them by the time Najib has been stripped of all his illegally gained wealth there will be nothing for Beijing to mop up. Not a crumb.
